I can't believe how awesome your surgery turned out - what a fantastic profile/ jaw line!!! It'll be weird not to avoid cameras - or to think about how to push my jaw around cameras :)
Thanks Stephanie. As excited as I was to get the surgery, I was a little sad to see my old face go, but not thinking about what angle the camera is at is wonderful. I went to Europe and took tons of pictures and I normally would never have done that. I was posturing SOOOOO much too. I just feel more at peace now and more like myself. I hope all goes well with your surgery and the surgery approval. The whole community is pulling for you.
My cheek looks swollen in this picture, but that is just the way my head is turned. That side has virtually no swelling. Tomorrow will mark two months since I went under the knife.

Still a little swollen, but not bad!
Three photos from the 5.2 week mark
Still a little swollen on the left. Still have a few stitches that need to come out.

Two Days After Surgery
Damn Gina! This girl is swollen!
A Frontal Picture Before Surgery
My doctor calls this "posturing" (this is kind of what I will look like after surgery, I am pushing my lower jaw as far forward as I can here).
My Gross Before Picture
I NEVER let people knowingly see me from this angle with a relaxed chin.
